News & Thoughts: Patrick Dempsey is People’s Sexiest Man Alive. But is he?

People Magazine has named former “Grey’s Anatomy” star Patrick Dempsey as 2023’s Sexiest Man Alive. He beat out Timothee Chalament, Usher, Jamie Foxx, Lenny Kravitz, Pedro Pascal and Jason Kelce.

Don’t get mewrong – McDreamy will always be top tier, but why now? Why was he not named SMA when McDreamy was all the rage? Personally, I’ve been a fan of Patrick since I was a little fat girl in South Georgia who continuously made her mother rent “Can’t Buy Me Love” from the small video rental store in town. And don’t get me started on “In The Mood” and “Lover Boy,” which I probably shouldn’t have been watching as a little girl, but so what?

I’m a Patrick Dempsey girl.

So when I say that I think there would have been better choices for 2023’s Sexiest Man Alive, I mean that with all the love in the world for the man who will ALWAYS be McDreamy to me.

So who should have been picked? Here’s my top 5 in no particular order:

Yes it’s a wide range of guys, who frankly, don’t have a lot in common except maybe the actors and the singers and one football player. It definetly shows I have a type, but other than that, they are all hot.
