Leave it to Taylor Swift to continuously beat her own records and make history. Or should we change it to HERstory?

“1989 (Taylor’s Version)” was released on Friday, October 27, and is the latest album that Taylor has released to completely own her music catalog. All that is left is “Taylor Swift” and “Reputation” – her name and reputation.

“1989 (TV)” became the most-streamed album on Spotify in 2023 and she also became the most-streamed artist in a single day in the app’s history. She replaces herself, when she took the reign with her 10th album, “Midnights” a year ago this month.
